Like all Los Angelenos and many folks around the world, our lives as students have been significantly impacted by COVID-19. Online courses, halting clinical rotations, and social isolation measures have pulled us away from what we have come to expect as medical students. However, our passion for aiding people in times of need has only been amplified in response to the current pandemic. We’ve recognized a need for childcare, pet care, and other household support services, particularly for members of the care teams facing this challenge head on. In turn, this is an incredible opportunity for us to support our community during this remarkable time.
We have established core group of medical students who are organizing the efforts of numerous enthusiastic students in health professional schools at USC who want to assist our community.
Our goal is to alleviate the impact of COVID-19 on the on the parents, families, and others who will experience increased demands at the hospitals concurrently with challenges outside of work.
